Sydney Childrens' Hospital
Curing Homesickness
Most people give to individual illnesses, not the hospitals that treat them. So, to raise funds for the children’s hospitals in Australia we found an illness all kids in hospital suffer from; homesickness.
To launch the idea we told the story of Ali. A homesick little girl who missed her mum’s pasta sauce.
It documented the internet, media, celebrities and brands rallying to get her home.
Every scene in the film was designed to happen in the real world. The 47 brands that came together in the film, launched the same experiences, media coverage, social posts, fundraisers, and products in the real world.
Most significantly, just like in the film, people could buy Mum’s Sause from Australia’s biggest grocery chain, Coles – with sales from every jar raising money.
